Guitar Hero

Have you ever wished you could play guitar as good as your guitar idols? Matter of fact, I do. There were many times that I was frustrated about not being able to exactly imitate Lamb of God’s guitar riffs. It’s a bit hard for me because my speed in alternate picking wasn’t built for that tempo. Ever wished that there’s an easy solution to this problem?

Wish no more!

Introducing (cue: trumpets) Guitar Hero. Just kidding, I’m not introducing guitar hero since it’s already been popular. But yes, Guitar hero is the answer to your frustration. What is guitar hero? Guitar hero is a console game in which players thrash away on a guitar-shaped controller to copy the moves of the guitar player playing a popular song. You know what’s the good thing about this game? It’s the guitar controller; it is replica of a Gibson SG. This makes it tons of times better because you don‘t have to use the old controller. The guitar has five buttons instead of strings. You press the buttons with your left hand while your right hand strums the plastic strumming bar. The buttons are pressed in accordance to the buttons that are shown in the video game. It is the closest thing to a guitar player without practicing for years. That’s what makes this game great and that’s the reason why it created a cult of followers. But of course, you can’t deny that nothing beats the real thing.
